Whole Birth Wellness, based in Colorado, USA, is responsible for the newsletter subscriber information described here. Contact us about privacy, corrections, deletion, or unsubscribing at wholebirthwellnesswithvic@gmail.com.
Information we collect
When you subscribe, we collect your email address, your name if you choose to provide it, and a record of your consent. That record includes the signup date and page, the wording you agreed to, the privacy policy version, and your subscription status. We also assign an unsubscribe token so you can leave the list without creating an account.
Our hosting provider processes technical information such as your IP address and browser request details to deliver and protect the service. We do not add your IP address or browser details to the subscriber record. You do not need to share pregnancy, fertility, or other health information to subscribe.
How we use information
We use your email address, with your consent, for the Whole Birth Wellness newsletter: podcast episodes, announcements, encouragement for fertility, birth, postpartum, and motherhood, and occasional recommendations and offers. We may use your name to personalize emails. We use consent and subscription records to manage your choices, prevent accidental re-subscription, and demonstrate what you agreed to.
Where a legal basis is required, we rely on consent for newsletter marketing and our legitimate interests in administering a secure service and keeping evidence of subscription choices, subject to applicable law. We do not use the signup information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects.
Your choice & unsubscribe
Signing up is voluntary, and the consent checkbox is not preselected. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing the contact above or using the unsubscribe link included in newsletter emails. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before you withdrew consent.
The signup service sends a confirmation email after a new subscription. Submitting the form again does not reactivate a previously unsubscribed address or send another confirmation. Contact us if you want to rejoin.
Service providers & international processing
We use Amazon Web Services to host the website, process requests, and store subscriber information in the United States (Northern Virginia). Website content is delivered through a global content delivery network. If you visit from another country, your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
Our service providers process information to operate the service. We may also disclose information when required by law or to address fraud, security threats, or legal claims. We do not sell subscriber information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Contact us for information about our processing arrangements and any safeguards applicable to your information.
How long we keep information
We keep your subscription information while you remain subscribed. After you unsubscribe, we retain your subscription and consent record for up to three years to honor your choice and keep evidence of consent and withdrawal; records are then scheduled for automatic deletion. Expired records may take a few additional days to be removed. Service error logs are retained for 14 days. Database recovery backups may retain earlier data for up to 35 days.
You may request deletion sooner. We may retain limited information where necessary to meet a legal obligation or resolve a legal claim, as permitted by applicable law. Contact us to discuss how deletion affects the record used to keep you unsubscribed.
Your privacy rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; and complain to your local data protection authority. Cookies & tracking
This signup website does not set cookies or use analytics, advertising pixels, or browser storage. Fonts are hosted with the site. We do not track visitors across other websites, and the site does not change its behavior in response to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals because the tracking, sale, and advertising sharing those signals address are not used here. No email open or click tracking is currently enabled by this signup service.
Policy updates
We will publish changes on this page with a revised effective date and provide additional notice when required by applicable law. A policy update does not automatically expand your email consent.
